At approximately 8:45 a.m. power came on in all parts of the building and the day will continue as normal.
According to Principal John WIlliams in a school-wide announcement earlier in the day, the school had power outages in part of the school when students and teachers were arriving on Oct. 8. As of 7:30 a.m., the administrators did not know exactly what would happen the rest of the day because, according to Assistant Principal Amy Skeens-Benton, it all depended on whether the power was restored.
Students reported to their first period classes as normal and teachers used their discretion as to whether the class had to be relocated to other areas of the school with power.
