CHS awarded ‘Four Star School’ distinction

This school was awarded the ‘Four Star School’ distinction by the Indiana Department of Education.
According to the district website, this award is “granted by the Indiana Department of Education (IDE) annually to those schools that meet certain criteria. The criteria are language arts proficiency, math proficiency, and percentage of students meeting state standards in both language arts and math on ISTEP. Attendance rate and whether or not a school makes Adequate Yearly Progress under No Child Left Behind benchmarks are also factors.”
