A message from the editor-in-chief:
Welcome to the HiLite. We’ve been working hard this summer to have a newspaper out on the first day of school, and I hope that this new issue finds you excited for the upcoming school year. Our newspaper is here as a service to you, the students of Carmel High School, and our greater community, so please use it and this website as an informative source.
On the front page, you will find a story about our fellow students who have also been working hard this summer, the Marching Greyhounds. In addition, throughout the issue, we hope you find expansive coverage of the news that matters to you. For some light reading, check out our back page feature, 15 Minutes of Fame, which this time spotlights our Student Body President and Speaker of the House.
As always, thanks for reading the HiLite.

Meanwhile, Bob Corpus, CHS wrestler and senior, will skip lunches to work out and won’t eat for the for sometimes two days in order to make weight for an upcoming meet. Read more?
